Ethics Training Records
Per SB 827, all board members must complete at least two (2) hours of ethics training (reviews The Brown Act, Public Records Act, and Conflict of Interest laws) and 2 hours of fiscal training (reviews fiscal responsibilities, including budgeting, procurement, and financial oversight) every two (2) years. These trainings ensure that our leaders maintain the highest standards of transparency, legal compliance, and stewardship of public funds. Per California law (Government Code § 53235.2) Sylvan Union School District is providing instructions on how the public may access ethics training records.
