Welcome to Crossroads Elementary School, home of the Cougars.

Crossroads is a neighborhood school where many of the students attending here have been a Crossroads Cougar for their entire school career. A student recently shared that the reason why she likes being at Crossroads is because it feels like her other home. She said that Crossroads is a family. This is the best way to describe our school.

At Crossroads, students are the focus. Two times a week, our staff collaborates together to determine how to best support our students so that they grow as learners. Our teachers set goals for student learning and celebrate success in the classroom with their students. In addition to focusing on academics this year, we are focusing on the social emotional learning of our students using a newly adopted social emotional curriculum called Caring School Community. Our students will learn to support one another in this program and will also learn how to successfully navigate school situations that may arise.

We are so excited to welcome back our amazing COUGARS and look forward to working together to provide the best education possible to our students. The 2021-22 school year is shaping up to be a great one. Thank you for taking this educational journey with us.

Warm regards,

Mrs. Pound, Principal
