Volunteer Application Information
We are extremely pleased that you are interested in volunteering to assist our Sylvan Union School District students and staff. Your time, energy and commitment are greatly appreciated!
Before continuing to the below application, you must complete the parent volunteer training course. To find available times, please click the link below:
Thank you for completing the parent volunteer training course. To complete the online application, you will need the following items available to upload:
- Current proof of tuberculosis (TB) clearance
- A current copy of your driver's license
- Completed Certificate of Training Completion and Volunteer Agreement (Provided by the school site)
If you are applying for a Level III volunteer, you will have additional requirements to complete in order to volunteer. Level III volunteers have approval to assist in the classroom on an ongoing, regular basis, have direct contact with students and may chaperone on school field trips.
The additional requirements for a Level III volunteer are to complete the Mandated Training (see below) and obtain a Department of Justice Fingerprint Clearance. The fingerprint clearance will be paid for by the district and information will be provided to you on how to obtain this clearance.

REQUIRED: All visitors and volunteers will sign in through our Raptor system using their driver's license. If a family member doesn't not have a driver's license they may use another form of government identification such as a passport, Tribal Identification Card, Us Military Identification, etc.
