Full-Day Kindergarten
for the 2022-23 School Year !
The Sylvan governing board approved the plan to modify the district’s kindergarten program from a half-day program to a full-day program districtwide beginning with the 2022-23 school year. We are excited about this new opportunity and the district is now enrolling students for the
2022-23 school year.
The district’s Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Program will continue as a half-day program for the 2022-23 school year for students who will be turning five between September 2 and February 2. Students will be assigned to either a morning or afternoon session.
Minimum Day Wednesdays
Starting Wednesday, August 24, 2022
through Wednesday, May 3rd
EVERY WEDNESDAY IS A MINIMUM DAY.
Dismissal time is 1:25pm
AUGUST 24TH - FIRST MINIMUM DAY
MAY 3RD - LAST MINIMUM DAY WEDNESDAY
School Hours for 2021-22
School Starts at 8:00AM
(Students are allowed on campus starting at 7:30am)
School Ends at 2:15PM on Regular Days
(Student need to be picked-up no later than 2:30PM)
School Ends at 1:25PM on MINIMUM DAYS
(May 4th - Last Minimum Day Wednesday)

When families enroll their children in Sylvan District parent portal account is automatically created. If you enrolled your child after July 1, 2019 please access the portal here and try logging into the portal.
You can reset your password by clicking on "forgot password."
Once your information is verified, an email will be linked to your child's account and an Aeries Parent Portal account will be automatically generated.

Ensure you have the correct email address.
Make sure the webpage says "Sylvan Union School District" at the top.
