The California Young Reader Medal Nominees

are posted to the left. Your student will vote on their favorite and we will announce the winners in March.

The California Young Reader Medal program encourages recreational reading of popular literature among the young people of our state.

Young people recommend the titles of theri favorite books for nomination,

or teachers andlibrarians note repeatedly read or requested titles, and these are submitted to the California Young Reader Medal committee.
