W.E.B. (Where Everybody Belongs)
W.E.B. is a middle school transition and leadership program designed to help incoming students feel welcomed, connected, and successful at Daniel J. Savage Middle School.
W.E.B. Leaders are selected from the current 7th grade class and serve as positive role models for incoming students during their 8th grade year. These student leaders help create a welcoming environment, support school activities, and encourage younger students throughout the school year.
W.E.B. Leaders demonstrate many of the qualities that make great student leaders, including:
- Strong communication skills
- A willingness to lead and support others
- Responsibility and accountability
- Respect for diverse perspectives and personalities
- Positive role-model behavior
- Confidence and self-motivation
- Enthusiasm and school spirit
- A commitment to helping others succeed
Through training, mentorship, and school activities, W.E.B. Leaders help build connections between students and contribute to a positive school culture where everyone belongs.
